Affiliate Link Cloakng

Email This Entry

Jeremy Palmer, from QuitYourDayJob.com put together a great online tutorial on how to use PHP to cloak your affiliate links. I highly recommend taking the time to watch and learn.

Jeremy does a great job of explaining this in their simplest forms, thanks Jeremy keep up the great work!

Also, if you haven't read his book, be sure to check out High Performance Affiliate Marketing. (Maybe I should have cloaked that one? )

Saqib,

CJ link tracking is fairly easy to implement. When you select get link in CJ, it allows you to select and SID tracking code and it will create the link for you. If you want to add the link yourself you can add it to the end of any product level url by adding &sid=your-code where "your-code" is the id you want to use for tracking.

On shorter url's without variables already added you will need to use ?sid=your-code but only if it is the first variable in the url string:

www.domain.com?sid=your-code

Hope that helps!

Adam
