Thank you for your review of the PepperJam Network. We appreciate you sharing your opinion and doing the research needed to fairly evaluate this affiliate marketing resource. Specifically, how you pointed out the conflict of interest due to PJN actively promoting via PPC. We have seen fit to link to this article in our independent PepperJam Network Reviews section. Anyhow, keep up the good work spreading truth.

Google is what makes America great, by that I mean it is the land of opportunity and the land of free will and free give and take. If you want these free services... well guess what, they are going to be gathering bread crumbs of information along the way. For those who still object to Google's practices let me ask you a question, what free services are you providing to the world?

<p>
SIDs are a great way to track stuff. But the biggest issue I have with them is that CJ does not allow visibility into which SIDs are being clicked and not converting. I have had several instances where conversions stopped cold after implementing SIDs correctly. CJ appears to be tracking clicks correctly but conversions die. This makes it impossible to troubleshoot. So be careful when implementing them especially, when you insert SIDs dynamically.

Old post, but I still have to ask since I'm very new to the internet marketing world. How could you possibly think this kind of site could have a high conversion rate? It adds almost of value to the want to buy language software / want to sell language software transaction. Wouldn't taking a personal approach -- "how I learned spanish quickly and easily" -- make for a far more convincing (and higher converting) piece of internet real estate?

<p>
I have signed up in both LinkShare and CJ.
Here is something I thought:
Looks like most of CJ merchants do not offer the RSS feed, I have sent bunch of emails to ask merchants about offering RSS data feed or CSV files, so far, only one merchant gave me the RSS feed link. The rest of merchants cannot offer RSS data feed. CJ teams should do more work for their publisher …
By the way, looks like, a lot of merchants do not include item images in their RSS data feed.
It is really easy to include an image in the RSS xml format; I do not understand why they do not do it....
Compare with CJ merchants, a lot of LinkShare merchants offer RSS data feed. It gave us more flexible choice

Hi Adam,

I stumbled across this page on setting up an affiliate site. Your site looks really professional. Thanks for the great tips. How have conversions been since the new updates on

http://goyami.corante.com/archives/2006/11/16/building_a_professional_affiliate_site_looking_back.php

I noticed that "chineseso.com" was no longer used to redirect.

Has the language translation increased conversions a lot?

Does having google ads decrease conversions?

Thanks Again for the Great Info,
Joe

So how did you get on with your Sitepoint auction? I tried selling something on there once and didn't get any bids so found it a bit dissapointing. I'd be interested to hear how you got on. Also in the 2 years since you wrote this post do you think things have moved on at all in this market?

<p>
on the Wisconsin quarter, what does it mean when it seems to be the number "1" across from the leaf, not a leaf of mistake?

That is funny. The bottom picture looks like alien abduction gone bad. I guess Google came by to do shock therapy on the wrong person. Anybody you know is missing? Haha

Anyways, I do like your Google Cash ebook. Let me sit on it for a little bit and we'll see what happens.

<p>
I noticed last month that the elevator area for Mandalay has been renovated, though only on the casino floor. The new look has that silver and dark woods look that I'd normally complain about as being overdone, but since THEhotel is right nearby and basically established this look on the Strip, you can't argue too much about it's use here. Anyway, since the basement/beach/pool level still has the old lobbies, I was able to make some comparison shots.
